The Clark Reliance RV020RK probe is a compression seal PTFE insulator based probe used in their EL1000 water column. The stated maximum rating is 1000 psi (69 bar) @ 285 degrees C (545 F). The proper maximum temperature for PTFE is 260 Degrees C and we do not recommend using above this temperature.
Drumline recommends the use of its DLRVT020RK as an upgrade for the Clark Reliance Probe. The DLRVT020RK is a brazed Zirconia probe with a tough bearing grade PTFE coating. It uses a spiral wound stainless steel and graphite gasket, instead of the cheaper gaskets used by Clark Reliance.
The DLRVT020RK is a direct upgrade for both the Clark Reliance RT020RK and the RV020RK. Clark Reliance probes are extremely expensive at nearly $350 each and $25 for gaskets. Drumline can offer a better product at a much more realistic price.
